Heather Powell is President & CEO and leader of acquisition efforts at Ventana. Heather previously managed various functions across land, business development and regulatory for RKI Exploration and Production, LLC, which merged with WPX Energy, Inc., in 2015. She began her career in 2004 at Chesapeake Energy where her passion for A&D began. Heather is a Certified Professional Landman and is active with the Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen, the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association, ADAM-OKC and Oklahoma Energy Explorers.
When she isn’t working, Heather loves to spend time with her family & explore the world.

Tom was previously Vice President – Reservoir Engineering at Red Bluff Resources where he was responsible for resource development and reservoir engineering. Prior to Red Bluff he was at RKI Exploration & Production as the Manager of Corporate Reserves. Tom was responsible for both the Permian and Powder River basin reservoir engineering and asset management functions. Tom also held various positions with Chesapeake Energy Corporation. Tom received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management from Oklahoma State University.

KRITTENBRINKKara Krittenbrink started her career in Acquisitions and Divestitures at Chesapeake Energy in 2011. Prior to working at Ventana, she worked for RKI as a land analyst. Kara grew up in Okarche, OK, in the middle of the oil patch and obtained a degree in Finance from the University of Oklahoma. She currently lives in Oklahoma City.

Savannah Webb manages the administrative functions and analyst tasks for Ventana’s land department. Prior to Ventana she was a loan officer at a local credit union. Savannah lives in Tuttle, OK and enjoys spending time with her pup and making her car faster.

Martin Brady joined Ventana as an Associate Landman in March 2017. He previously worked for XTO Energy, Inc. as Division Order Analyst for the Permian and Mid-Continent assets. Martin is from Healdton, OK and was raised in the oil and gas industry. He is an active member of the AAPL and OCAPL.
Martin earned his B.S. from Oklahoma State University and his MJEL from the University of Tulsa. When he isn’t working, he enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with his wife and their dog Ollie.

Crystal Doty started her career in revenue accounting at Chesapeake Energy in 2009. She values her time here at Ventana as it has broadened her knowledge of the oil & gas industry beyond just revenue. She is married and a mother to two girls who keep her plenty busy outside of work. Crystal is a huge sports fan and loves cheering on the Sooners and OKC Thunder.

Becky Pope joined Ventana in April 2019. She previously worked at Red Bluff Resources as a Reservoir Technician II, RKI Exploration & Production, LLC as a Reservoir Technician and GMX Resources as a Geosciences Technician. Within each company she has worked multiple basins including the STACK/SCOOP/Merge, Permian, Haynesville/Cotton Valley, Powder River & Bakken. She grew up in Verden, OK and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma. Becky is the fourth generation to choose a career in the Oil and Gas Industry. When not at work, she enjoys sporting events, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughter and puppy.

Rachel Sanger started her career in Accounting at Chaparral Energy in 2013. Prior to working at Ventana, she worked at Neiman Marcus Headquarters in Dallas, TX where she was able to use her accounting skills to focus on Marketing and Creative sales for a worldwide brand. Rachel grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. When she isn’t working, she likes to spend time with family and go to OU football games and Thunder games.
